Twins First Day in School!

Yes, my babies are growing up. We took them for their orientation the day before the official start of school, and surprisingly, Dina made a big fuss. It all started in the morning when she was not too keen on putting on her uniform, something about it being to small for her tummy! She then dragged it below and wore the skirt ala hipster style!

When we got to school, we found out that there was another Dina in class, so they assigned her name as Nur! That took the cake! She did not want to let us go and cried a little as we left her at the class. Irsyad, took to his classroom like he had been there for years. He started playing with stuff and tried, unsucessfully to coax Dina to settle down.

Finally, Dina calmed down after being given some puzzles to solve. She has always liked those.

The Official first day of school went without a hitch. Linda drove to school and we left them at the gym with the teaching assistant. We then walked back to the classroom to spy on them for awhile.

Sigh…my babies are growing up.

At the gym waiting for the rest of the school to show up. Irsyad sat down as instructed, but Dina was reluctant as she said the floor is dirty...banyak songeh la she sometimes.

In the clasroom.

We left after this shot. Both of them looked comfortable enough and I think the kids are more resilient that what we give them credit for. The had fun after school, even though Icad went back to his old tricks of not wanting to drink water so that he does not have to visit the toilets! Am sure the phase will pass soon.
