The temp has been rising and rising the last few days. It must have been around 45C for most of the days. Not too bad when you are in an air conditioned environment, but going out in the mid day sun can be torture. The worst part is picking the kids up from the nursery at 12:30 and walking over to the car park. The sand burns the legs as we walk through.
Left the wall temp out in the sun for as few minutes, and it went off the scale! So, after 10 min, it is actually higher than 50C!
So, what do you do when it gets too hot? You jump into the pool! We do have a pool behind the house, but it has been pretty full these days with the neighbours and all jumping in. So we decided that Wafi is still the best option. Apparently the pool is temp controlled, thus not surprisingly it was cold compared to the air temp which must have been around 38C in the shade!
